Obi-Wan took Luke to Tatooine where he gave the baby to Owen Lars and his wife Beru to raise. Obi-Wan would watch over them and live in a remote house as Ben Kenobi.

In his earlier life he was a significant character in many battles and was also the first Jedi in a 1000 years to defeat a Sith Lord when he killed Darth Maul. After the chance meeting with the two droids C-3PO and R2-D2 he once again was involved when he ended up on the Death Star and for the second time had to fight Darth Vader. This time, however, he gave his life to allow Luke and Leia to escape the Death Star. The Storm Trooper was the elite soldier of the Galactic Empire. Once they were all clones of Jango Fett, grown on various planets in the out rim as well as the original cloning planet of Kamino, but conscription soon led to a mixture of clones and humans. This was not to the liking of clone war veterans like Commander Cody who couldn’t stand them. Although extremely rare, women were also enlisted as Storm Troopers.

Storm Troopers were not known for suffering defeats, but the defeat on Endor to the small rebel force assisted by Ewoks is probably their most well known defeat.

This minifigure is one of the all time classics in my opinion. Although it’s the head gear that give it the iconic look, I have seen many people make some great images with this figure, something I am still trying to do myself. If I could, I’d have a whole army of these figures. Any donations are always welcome!

UPDATE: after posting the image along with this article, I was told on my facebook page that I had posted a picture of a Clone Trooper and not a Storm Trooper. What a mistake to make! Hopefully this should rectify the situation. Apologies for any confusion it may or may not have caused. The detail is subtle though so I will have to pay more attention next time.

Lobot

Star Wars

cloud city

empire strikes back

lobot
<guid
