This LEGO American Armored Patriot Custom Minifigure is inspired by the movie release of Iron Man 3 on the 24th April 24 2013. We are note sure is LEGO will release this in one of the three Iron Man LEGO sets Marvel : Iron Man Extremis 76006, Marvel : Iron Man Malibu Mansion 76007, and Marvel : Iron Man vs Mandarin 76008.

This minifigure is digitally printed for a high quality and features printing on the head, torso, arms, and front and side of the legs. As you can see the design looks really good and matches the Iron Patriot Armour.

The comic book history of the armour is after the Invasion of Skrulls Norman Osborn became the new hero of the world and replaced Tony Stark as the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., or rather its successor H.A.M.M.E.R..

When he decided to create a new team of Avengers he felt the team needed the heroic images of Captain America and Iron Man. Thus he decided to create this battle suit painted with the colors of Captain America’s costume which was cobbled together from StarkTech that had been confiscated from Tony Stark’s armory at Stark Tower shortly after H.A.M.M.E.R.’s formation.

If LEGO do not release the Iron Patriot minifigure then we will be stocking this minifigure by Minifigs4U. The minigun build uses three pieces from the black Brickarms Minigun, together with two small LEGO pieces 4211760 and 4517925 which you can buy on Bricklink.
