I do get the impression that this minifigure has too much energy and will become one of those annoying people who are always jogging or doing star jumps. Still, as it’s still January, no doubt the new years resolution will wear off soon.

It’s such a simple design, the square head, key in it’s back and the decals. I reckon LEGO have got this one spot on and this figure is probably one of my favourites out of all 6 series so far.

As minifigures go, it’s not particularly exciting but none the less it’s a pretty different from most other minifigures with it’s moulded body of bones. Really it’s the head that makes this figure skeleton like as the design is pretty spot on while still keeping it ‘LEGO’.

I want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a great new year. Hopefully I might get the odd minifigure or two over Christmas to add to my growing collection and I hope you all get what you have asked for.

This is the Evil Dwarf from the series 5 collectors set. Why it’s evil I am not so sure. Maybe he’s just a little bit grumpy.

This isn’t the first dwarf figure by LEGO as they featured in the Castle sets along with ogres and goblins, so I have a few already. Along with the Elf minifigure from series 3, I would say the LEGO have been preparing for the Lord Of The Rings sets for a while.

Once again LEGO have produced a lot of great detail on this minifigure. The beard, black of course, is the dominant feature, but the hat and the sword both make this a great minifigure to add to the collection.

Who’d have thought under all that facial hair, it’s just an antiques dealer from East Anglia (target reference there).

The Pirates Of The Caribbean themed sets are relatively new to the LEGO collection and I’ve had a few of the figures for a while. This is Captain Jack Sparrow, the main character of the films and what an ace minifigure he is too. I love the detail that LEGO have created on this character, plus there is the hidden extra of another, more scared, or possibly more drunk, face if you turn the head round 180 degrees under the hair.

As with any franchise sets, it’s always good to have them in your collection as they can become quite collectible.

I just hope he doesn’t find my rum!

This is the Egyptian Queen Minifigure and as with all LEGO figures, it’s quite clear to see that this looks like a well known character but they can’t use the proper name. In this case it’s Cleopatra’s ancient copyright lawyers that LEGO are trying to keep at bay.

There isn’t really too much to say about this minifigure, the hair is the thing that gives her the more Egyptian look I suppose along with the decals on the body parts. As with all the Collectors Edition figures, they are all worth having but some stand out more than others.

I love going to the zoo and seeing all the animals and I’d love to be a zoo keeper too. This minifigure is lucky enough to be one and it looks like it’s feeding time for the baby chimps, but all they seem to have are giant bananas!

I like the LEGO chimp that comes with this figure and the fact that you can hang it on things. The zoo keeper isn’t anything out of the ordinary but with the figure, the chimp and the banana it becomes a great minifigure for anyone’s collection.
