Grand Moff Tarkin

Wilhuff Tarkin rose through the ranks to become the first Grand Moff and the commanding officer of the first Death Star which destroyed the planet of Alderaan. He was one of the few people to have command over Darth Vader. It was his close ties with Senator Palpatine that enabled Wilhuff to rise through the ranks so quickly.

It is thought that he even plotted to use the Death Star to blow up a planet with Palpatine on it to become ruler of the galaxy, but with Darth Vader sent to oversee the Death Star’s construction, this act was not possible.

There isn’t really anything that stands out about this LEGO minifigure, there are a few details on the face to give the impression of wrinkles, and the grey hair, but it’s a pretty standard figure. Still an important part of any collection though as Grand Moff Tarkin played an important role in the Star Wars series.
