Minifigure Series 1 Cheerleader
Posted on | June 15, 2010 | No Comments
Another from the new series of minifigures from LEGO is the Cheerleader. Once again I’m impressed by the detail, the pom poms are a great accessory too.
Of course, she is cheering for team minifigure judging by the M on her vest.

Minifigure Series 1 Wrestler
Posted on | June 13, 2010 | No Comments
LEGO have recently brought out a series of minifigures which I think are particularly ace and aimed at the collector. There are 16 to choose from and you can by them as a lucky dip, or from one of the many other shops that sells them individually for a little more.
This one is a Super Wrestler. A very colourful minifigure. I love the detail on the head and I reckon it would be just as good without the cape.
Medic Soldier

This is another one of the little soldier characters from Toy Story, this time a medic. Not a great deal of difference from the normal soldier character, except the helmet of course. The kit that this is from comes with 4 little soldiers in total, plus with the other set I bought at the same time you get Woody and Buzz Lightyear, so all in a all the start of a pretty good themed collection.
Buzz Lightyear

This is Buzz Lightyear, the wannabe space man from Toy Story. I like what LEGO have done here, even though it is a custom head. I’ve seen a larger version of this character as a kit in it’s self, which might tempt me one day.

Soldier

Another minifigure from the new LEGO Toy Story themed sets, this time one of the little soldiers.
I like the way LEGO have done this one, at least it gives you more options to mix and match the body parts to create other minifigs unlike the Woody minifigure in the last post.
Woody

This is Woody from the new LEGO Toy Story themed sets.
I have to say that I’m not a fan of the way LEGO have done this character, the legs, body, arms and head are all longer than a normal LEGO minifig which makes this figure a bit too ‘one off’ for my liking, but at the same time, I do like the Toy Story themed sets so I guess I’ll live with it.
Ahsoka Tano

This is the Ahsoka Tano minifigure. Ahsoka is one of the newer characters from the Clone Wars animated series. She becomes Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice who takes her on reluctantly at first, but they soon get on.
It seems that the newer Star Wars themed figures are becoming a lot more detailed in the face. Still not sure I like it.

Princess Leia from Battle on Endor set

This is the Princess Leia minifigure that comes with the Battle on Endor set where I also got the Han Solo minifig I recently wrote about.
I’m not too sure about the red lips though, and it looks too much like she is wearing jeans, but anyway, a decent minifigure none the less.

Han Solo from Battle on Endor set
Posted on | January 31, 2010 | 1 Comment
I recently bought the battle on Endor set as it had quite a few decent minifigs including this on of Han Solo. It also comes with Chewwy, Princess Leia, several Ewoks, a couple of speeder bikes with Scout Troopers and some rebel solders in forest uniform. Not a bad set really.
Han Solo is one of the Star Wars LEGO characters that comes in a lot of different looks. I do have several other versions too which will be posted up soon.
More photos coming soon

Having had a slight technical glitch with my flash set up, I am now pleased to report that it is now fixed (replaced) and more photos will be appearing soon.
Since my last update many moons ago, I’ve acquired more minifigures, mainly from the Star Wars themed sets, as well as several of the kits so I’ll be busy taking some more pictures and posting them as soon as they are ready.
If you run a LEGO related blog, please leave a comment on this site. It’s always good to see what other people are up to in the LEGO world.
